As you may see, the benchmarks haven't been run by us. So the exact methodology isn't clear apart from the stated fact that the test was run a million times to benchmark.

To be quite honest, I personally have zero experience with Julia. And much as I've read about it, I do expect it be faster. But my comments don't hold much confidence.
